Before I speak of Elvaris Health, I must honor those who inspired its creation. I write with deep gratitude to my grandfather, a dedicated physician; my grandmother, whose warmth taught me true care; my father, who showed me that healing is the greatest service; and my mother, whose strength is my foundation. Elvaris Health is the continuation of their legacy—their life's work carried forward.
The name Elvaris carries a promise: "El" meaning elevated, and "Varis" meaning benefactor and protector. Together, it represents an elevated guardian of health. This promise of unwavering commitment to those we serve forms the very foundation on which our institution stands today.
As a public health specialist, I have long witnessed a painful reality: the communities needing healthcare the most often have the least access due to distance and financial barriers. Alongside my wife and co-founder, Sangeeta Datta, and my younger brother and collaborator, Swaraj Kar, we built Elvaris Health in Taherpur, Nadia, to permanently bridge this crucial gap.
Our mission is simple yet vital: to provide comprehensive, affordable, and patient-centric care that leaves no one behind. Starting with our polyclinic, diagnostics wing, and pharmacy, we are already expanding toward advanced radiology services and a full indoor inpatient facility, aiming to become one of Eastern India's most trusted medical destinations.
